The patio at Old School Bar & Grill is a huge 1500 square foot patio that’s reminiscent of a patio you would find in New Orleans. It overlooks the busiest corner in the historical 6th Street District of Austin at 6th and Trinity. Our patio is most famous for the iconic view of The Ritz Movie Theater. The Ritz was built in 1929 by J.J. Hegman, who owned several movie theaters in Austin. It was the first theater in Austin to be built specifically for the talkies. The 6th Street camera for Earthcam.com in on our roof to capture the famous view as well! https://www.earthcam.com/usa/texas/austin/

The patio has misters for those hot summer days and gas lamps for dining at night. It’s also the favorite choice for UT fraternity and sorority parties!
